Salman al-Farsi began his life as Ouzba from Persia and was sent to a village to check on things for his father. On his way there he passed a church and liked the prayers he heard and decides to go to Damascus to seek out another faith better than his current one. Before his death, his teacher told him to seek out a Prophet PBUH to guide him.
